Jacob Briones Scholarship Fund

The Jacob Briones Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization, per 501c3, created to help young adults continue their education after graduation from high school. Additionally, funds are distributed to non-profit organizations whose focus is the awareness and prevention of suicide.

Jacob Briones was a student at Frontier High School in Bakersfield and an outstanding player on the 2015 Titan football team. In addition, he was a shining spirit and friend to almost everyone he met, always willing to help others, even when it wasn't convenient. Tragically and completely unexpectedly, Jacob took his own life on March 4, 2016; this organization was created to honor his memory and continue a legacy of helping others.
