My name is Paul Briones and I am the co-executor of the Jacob Briones Scholarship Fund. The Jacob Briones Scholarship Fund is a non-profit organization, per 501c3, created to help young adults continue their education after graduation from high school. Additionally, funds are distributed to non-profit organizations whose focus is the awareness and prevention of suicide.

Jacob Briones was a student at Frontier High School in Bakersfield and an outstanding player on the 2015 Titan football team. In addition, he was a shining spirit and friend to almost everyone he met, always willing to help others, even when it wasn''t convenient. Tragically and completely unexpectedly, Jacob took his own life on March 4, 2016; this organization was created to honor his memory and continue a legacy of helping others.

Every year since the spring of 2017, the "Fly High 5 Golf Tournament" has been hosted and with the help of your generous donations we have been able to award over $27,000 in scholarship funds. On April 15, 2023 we will be hosting our annual "Fly High 5" tournament and are hoping for your continued support of this event. I have included a tournament flyer in addition to an information sheet that explains tee box sponsorships.
